GVC Announces Shawn McQuistin Returning as General Manager for 2026–2027 Season

The Greater Vancouver Canadians are pleased to announce that Shawn McQuistin has been appointed as the team’s general manager by the British Columbia Elite Hockey League (BCEHL) for the 2026-27 season.

This will be Shawn's second year as general manager for the Canadians.

“I’m excited to continue with GVC and build on the progress we’ve made. We’re committed to growing the program and providing a high-level environment that supports the development of our players both on and off the ice.”

Shawn was previously with Richmond Jets Minor Hockey Association (MHA), from 2013-2022 where he served in head coach, assistant coach and skill development coach roles at the U11 and U15 levels. Shawn has held the position of head coach with the Vancouver Thunderbirds MHA's U11 A1 squad since 2022.
