U15 Canadians Swept in Home-and-Home vs. Giants
The U15 AAA Greater Vancouver Canadians remain winless on the season, dropping both games of their home-and-home series against the Valley West Giants over the weekend (Oct. 18-19).
Through eight games this season, the Canadians are 0-8-0.
On Saturday, the Canadians fell 6-2 at the Planet Ice Delta. On Sunday, GVC lost 5-2 at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

On Saturday, James Wills and Kayvon Salamatian scored for GVC as the team was tied with the Giants 2-2 in the third period. Alas, the Giants erupted for four goals over the final eight minutes for the 6-2 win. Salamatian also picked up an assist for a two-point game, and Jack Mah Ming also had an assist in the contest.
On Sunday, goals by Eric Wang and Finn Carkner tied the game 2-2 in the third period, but once again the Giants took over shortly after, scoring the final three goals of the contest for the 5-2 victory. In goal, AJ Kwok made 31 saves for the Canadians. Magnus King assisted on both GVC goals.
Through eight games, Salamatian and Mah Ming are tied for the team lead with two goals apiece.
