The Canadians are now 11-3-2-2 (26 points) and are two points ahead of the Okanagan Rockets (24). The Thunderbirds and NE Chiefs, both tied for third place, have 23 points.

Both of the weekend games against the Royals took place at the Oceanside Place Arena.
